Athlete's Info
Selection policies, national athlete profiling, and pathways to represent Singapore in Muay Thai.
Athletes Selection Policy
AMAS maintains a formal selection policy that governs how athletes are identified, evaluated, and chosen to represent Singapore in national and international Muay Thai competitions. The policy ensures a fair, transparent, and merit-based process aligned with the standards of the International Federation of Muay Thai Amateur (IFMA) and the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC).
The Selection_Policy_AMAS document is available for download and covers eligibility criteria, selection timelines, performance benchmarks, and athlete conduct expectations.
National Athlete Profiling
AMAS conducts national athlete profiling to maintain a comprehensive registry of Muay Thai competitors across Singapore. This profiling supports talent identification, performance tracking, and team selection across all levels of competition.
National Team
The National Team represents Singapore at premier international events sanctioned by IFMA and FAMA. Athletes are selected based on competitive record, technical proficiency, and adherence to AMAS standards.
